![]() ![]() ![]() There is no real counter unit until musketmen. Hmm was it always that way? I vividly remember raging one game soon after the game released because the Edo Japanese declared war on me (one of the higher difficulties we were even tech) and my army could not escape or retreat or win the fight due to how strong they were. Still, it sucks that Varangian Guards, who were similarly OP in their era, got nerfed to the ground, to the point they're not much better than generic Greatswordsmen and get a 'no retreat' thing stuck on top of them, making them basically useless for anything but eye-candy. Not that I disagree, but Honor Code is a nerf, it disallows that unit to retreat, not their enemies. There has been thread after thread about it here, Reddit, Discord and Mod.io if you need ideas. Fixing the cultures is not hard at all, I am currently trying and other people have had mods up for months, it would be maybe 1 days work for 1 team member to just give a little buff to some cultures and a nerf to others. Please fix this so I don't have to constantly look to mods. Humans inherently have bias, we all do, so I expect there to be some (for example, some Blizzard original WoW devs have stated they favor Horde) but it's like really blatant with some of the cultures. There is some really clear bias on the cultures. Another example would be the Edo Japanese unit, 5 stronger than normal, anti mounted, extra speed so you can't out maneuver it, AND honor code so you can't even retreat. less than 1% of your income in the contemporary age on a big map. 1 gold per trade route? If you have 100 trade routs thats +`100 gold/turn which is like. While hearing AI will be improved is really great, will you please take a look at culture balance? I don't think any sane person can say USA and Soviets are anywhere near balanced, with Soviets being insanely OP (do I need to explain why?)and USA being insanely under powered. ![]() In fact we do have big plans for it ! With a "smaller" team it just takes us time to gather feedbacks, process them, rework some features of the games according to those feedbacks, fix bugs, try to work on new content.Īnyway, thank you for your support and patience! And I can assure you again that really soon you'll see some bigger improvements. So do not worry, we didn't give up on the community, neither on the game. We also focused on some bigger features rework and player experience, things that will come really really soon ^^ I can second Cat-o-nine-Tales telling you that the team is no more than 35 people, and all of them are not only programmers or game designers.Īlso for more clarity, we have been working a lot on the AI behaviours the last few weeks ( you'll be able to see some changes coming along the next patch). And while we are waiting for the moment when we can share some big new, we may as well throw out some small votes to let the community decide a small part of the saloon. I know the minor votes have you and other players worried, but I assure you we are still hard at work on the game. The point was that there are about 35 people working on Humankind, and I think it is close to that for Endless Dungeon, but I don't know precisely until I get a chance to ask HR or the producers. Other way around? are there actually less people making Endless Dungeon then people keeping humankind standing? Is that why so few and small content has been revealed of Endless Dungeon?Īs I mentioned, I don't know the exact sizes of the teams at the moment. I am not sure about the total size of both production teams combined, though (as a lot of people have joined during remote work, and I have lost count.) The other way around is closer to the truth, I'd say, because the Humankind live team is in fact about 35 people (I am not sure right now if it is exactly 35). Of those 50 we expect about 35 will be working on the new game, and about 10 on humankind. ![]()
